Here is a brief overview of how we make wine at the Clinch Mountain Winery.

We have 6,000 grape vines which produce 6 varieties of grapes.

Here are some of the grapes on the vine.

A wagon full of yellow bins is pulled between the rows.

The yellow bins are left along the rows. Workers fill the yellow bins with grapes.

The grapes are transferred from the yellow bins into large white tubs. These are moved by truck to the winery which is 25 miles from the vineyards.

A forklift unloads the bins of grapes at the winery.

The grapes are presses, and yeast is added.

After filtering the juice is moved to large tanks where it ferments.

Glass bottles are sterilized and prepared to fill.

The bottles are filled and the labels are applied to the bottles.

The wine is bottled, labeled and ready for you to enjoy.
